About Me

I am a college educated, professional with over 12 years experience in Corporate America. Currently, I am working as a Project Manager for a major corporation. My first job out of college was working as a Consultant for a major Fortune 500 company. I did this job for 5 years until I was laid off. One thing about being laid off, once you have been laid off, you never feel the same way about Corporate America again. You constantly have this “never settled” feeling. In addition, you lose that sense of security that you once had. I guess that unsettled feeling is what drives me to strike out on my own and control my own destiny. During my career, I have worked at major corporations each with their own set of workplace issues. In the process, I have learned and grown from facing and dealing with the issues I have experienced in Corporate America.

In my opinion, Corporate America can do better by their workers. Treating human beings as property that you can buy, sell or discard is horrible. The only way corporations can get more out of their workers, is give a little, show employees more respect, create a more favorable work environment, and add more incentives and bonuses. Corporations want so much out of their workers, but give little in return. Not everyone desires to be an entrepreneur, so let’s make work enjoyable for everyone. This creates a win-win situation for companies and their employees.
